Vice President Mike Pence met today with German Vice Chancellor and Minister of Finance Olaf Scholz to discuss the strong partnership between the two countries, our transatlantic relationship and the NATO Alliance. They previewed Chancellor Angela Merkel’s upcoming visit to the White House on April 27, 2018, and discussed a range of economic and national security concerns. They agreed to stay in touch as we work together to address geopolitical and economic challenges.
