Vice President Mike Pence spoke today with President Lenin Moreno of Ecuador to discuss opportunities to reinvigorate the bilateral relationship between the United States and Ecuador. Amidst the General Assembly meeting of the Organization of American States, the two leaders discussed the on-going humanitarian and economic disaster in Venezuela, and the need to work together with like-minded nations to protect and promote freedom in the hemisphere. Vice President Pence expressed the Administration’s strong commitment to Latin America, and our efforts to build prosperity, security and democracy across the region.
