On Saturday, October 10, 2020, the President signed into law:
H.R. 991 the “Extension of the Caribbean Basin Economic Recovery Act,” which provides preferential duty treatment of some apparel items imported from certain Caribbean countries;
S. 227, the “Savanna’s Act,” which directs the Attorney General to review, revise, and develop appropriate law enforcement and justice protocols to address missing and murdered Indians; and
S. 982, the “Not Invisible Act of 2019,” which establishes the Commission on Reducing Violent Crimes Against Indians.
