Today, President Donald J. Trump announced his intent to nominate the following individual to a key position in his Administration:

Brian S. Davis, of North Carolina, to be an Assistant Secretary of Defense (Manpower and Reserve Affairs).

Brian S. Davis currently serves as the Director of the Defense Personnel and Family Support Center for the Department of Defense. He is the Vice-Chairman of the Elizabeth City State University Aviation Advisory Board, and was previously a pilot with Omega Air Refueling Services, where he provided combat training and support to United States Navy and Marine Air Operations.

Mr. Davis served as an officer in the United States Air Force, commanding the 507 Air Refueling Wing at Tinker Air Force Base, the 459 Operations Group at Joint Base Andrews, and the 77 Air Refueling Squadron at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base. He has deployed and flown in support of various military campaigns around the world.

Mr. Davis is a graduate of Campbell University, and is an Air Force Command Pilot with more than 6,000 flying hours in numerous aircraft. He is a recipient of the Legion of Merit, Meritorious Services Medal (two devices), Aerial Achievement Medal, Air Force Achievement Medal, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award (five devices), and the Combat Readiness Medal (nine devices) among other awards.

Today, President Donald J. Trump announced his intent to appoint the following individuals to key positions in his Administration:

Alan Jackson, of California, to be a Member of the Commission on Presidential Scholars.

Scott Dane, of Minnesota, to be a Member of the President’s Export Council.
