Vice President Mike Pence met today with President of Honduras Juan Orlando Hernandez to reinforce the strong partnership between the United States and Honduras, with a particular focus on strengthening our security relationship, reaffirming a commitment to the fight against corruption, and working jointly to address illegal migration. Vice President Pence thanked President Hernandez for his support of Israel and the relocation of the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem, and the two leaders reaffirmed their grave concern about the destabilizing impact of the crisis in Venezuela and the need to restore the country to democracy.
