President Donald J. Trump spoke today with Congresswoman Jenniffer González-Colón regarding Puerto Rico’s recovery from Hurricanes Irma and Maria. President Trump sought Congresswoman González’s assessment of the response effort and expressed thanks for her leadership in responding to and recovering from these catastrophic events. President Trump pledged his Administration’s continued commitment to provide an unprecedented Federal response in helping the people of Puerto Rico. Congresswoman González thanked the President for his leadership, for FEMA’s leadership, and for the efforts of the Federal responders in Puerto Rico. Both leaders shared their praise for Governor Ricardo Rosselló of Puerto Rico and FEMA Administrator Brock Long.
