On Thursday, August 2, 2018, the President signed into law:
H.R. 4528, which amends marine fish conservation laws to limit the sale of billfish caught by U.S. fishing vessels and landed in Hawaii or Pacific Insular Areas;
H.R. 4645, the “East Rosebud Wild and Scenic Rivers Act,” which designates specified segments of the East Rosebud Creek in the State of Montana as components of the National Wild and Scenic Rivers System; and
H.R. 5729, the “Transportation Worker Identification Credential Accountability Act of 2018,” which prohibits the U.S. Coast Guard from implementing a rule requiring electronic inspections of Transportation Worker Identification Credentials until after the Department of Homeland Security has submitted a report to the Congress on the efficacy of the credentialing requirements for enhancing security.
