On Friday, December 22, 2017, the President signed into law:

H.R. 1370, which provides fiscal year 2018 appropriations for continuing projects and activities of the Federal Government through Friday, January 19, 2018; continues certain authorizations for the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act through Friday, January 19, 2018; provides emergency funding for the Department of Defense related to missile defense and ship repair; extends various public health programs and extends funding for the Children’s Health Insurance Program; appropriates funding to the Veterans Choice Fund; and includes a direction regarding the budgetary effects of divisions C and D and certain budget reconciliation Acts; and

H.R. 1, which provides comprehensive tax reform for individuals and businesses; and repeals the individual mandate under the Affordable Care Act.
