The President and First Lady are honored to continue the tradition of the White House Easter Egg Roll that dates back to 1878 with President Rutherford B. Hayes.  The Easter Egg Roll will take place on Monday, April 22, 2019, on the South Lawn of the White House.  Families with children 13 years old and younger are invited to join the President, First Lady, White House staff, and their families for a day of festivities.  Visit www.whitehouse.gov/easter-egg-roll for more information about the 2019 White House Easter Egg Roll.

ONLINE TICKET LOTTERY
White House Easter Egg Roll tickets are free to the public and can be requested through an online lottery opening this Thursday, February 28, 2019, at 10:00AM EST, and closing on Monday, March 4, 2019, at 10:00AM EST.  Entering the lottery is free of charge, and winners will be notified via email no later than Thursday, March 14, 2019.  Tickets are not for sale or resale.  Those interested in attending should enter lottery HERE.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

As in past years, the White House will select volunteers for the Egg Roll through an online application that opens this Thursday, February 28, 2019 at 10:00AM EST.  Individuals interested in volunteering can submit an application HERE.  The deadline for applying is Thursday March 7, 2019, at 10:00AM EST.  Applicants will be notified by Friday, March 15, 2019.

COMMEMORATIVE EGGS
This year’s official White House Easter Egg Roll commemorative eggs will be available to the general public.  More information will be available soon by visiting the lottery’s website.
