On Friday, November 22, 2019, the President signed into law:

S. 862, the “Rebuilding Small Businesses After Disasters Act,” which extends for three additional years, through November 24, 2022, the current SBA disaster loan collateral requirements; and requires the Government Accountability Office, within one year of enactment, to submit to relevant congressional committees a report comparing the performance, including default rates, of SBA disaster loans made prior to and after the date on which the current collateral requirements were established.
