On Monday, December 17, 2018, the President signed into law:
H.R. 315, the “Improving Access to Maternity Care Act,” which
collects information on health professional shortage areas identified as in need of maternity care health services and distribute maternity care health professionals to those areas;
H.R. 1417, the “National Law Enforcement Museum Exhibits Act,”
which authorizes the National Law Enforcement Museum in Washington, D.C., to acquire, receive, possess, collect, ship, transport, import, and display firearms in fulfilling the purpose of the Museum;
H.R. 1861, the “The Larry Doby Congressional Gold Medal Act,”
which provides for the award of a Congressional gold medal in honor of Lawrence Eugene “Larry” Doby in recognition of his achievements and contributions to American major league athletics, civil rights, and the Armed Forces during World War II;
H.R. 3398, the “REAL ID Act Modification for Freely Associated States Act,” which authorizes States to issue permanent driver’s licenses or identification cards to citizens of the Republic of the Marshall Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, and the Republic of Palau; and
H.R. 6330, the “Small Business Runway Extension Act of 2018,” which modifies the method for prescribing size standards for small businesses.
