Today, President Donald J. Trump announced his intent to nominate:

Taylor B. McNeel, of Mississippi, to serve as Judge on the United States District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi.

Taylor McNeel is a Member at Brunini, Grantham, Grower & Hewes, PLLC, in Biloxi, Mississippi, where his practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and he serves as the Partner in Charge of the Mississippi Gulf Coast office.  Mr. McNeel earned his B.B.A., cum laude, from the University of Mississippi, and his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Mississippi School of Law, where he served on the Mississippi Law Journal.

Thompson Michael Dietz, of New Jersey, to serve as Judge on the United States Court of Federal Claims.

Thompson Dietz is Associate Counsel in the General Counsel’s office at CohnReznick, LLP, in Roseland, New Jersey, where his practice focuses on government and commercial contracts and regulatory and corporate compliance.  Mr. Dietz also serves as Lead Counsel for the firm’s Government and Public Sector Group and for data security and privacy matters.  Mr. Dietz previously worked at General Dynamics Land Systems, where he was involved in negotiating and managing federal government contracts relating to military system design and development programs.  Mr. Dietz earned his B.A. from Clemson University, and his J.D. from Tulane University Law School.
